U.S. Marshal Old West Law Enforcement Badge. This exact replica badge is cast from a tin and zinc alloy, using a mold made from the original, authentic law badge which is in the possesion of a private collector. A pin has been soldered on the back. Special care and attention has been given to retaining every minute detail of the original law badge.

The original Old West law badges were individually handmade by pounding and / or sawing Spanish or American coins, and hand engraved. Later, the badges were made by the prisoners at the Yuma, Arizona and La Tuna, New Mexico prisons (still with coins).
